Why this exists
Relocating to a new country is a project of about 200 moving parts — most of them invisible until they bite. Existing relocation services are sales funnels for one law firm or one estate agent. Existing official portals are accurate but unreadable.
KyanoVia exists to make your dream move to Cyprus as smooth as possible. It is a KyanoLab project, built on the KyanoLab Engine, our property-intelligence engine. Built so that what we know about the Cyprus market — areas, projects, schools, services, regulations — is available to anyone planning a move, free.
Where we earn money: a fee from the professional firms who receive qualified introductions through this site, and the paid planner. We never charge the relocator to read anything. Specialists are checked against their own register (Cyprus Bar, ICPAC, GeSY) before they are listed.
How we keep ourselves honest
- · Every page that names a fact links to the official Cyprus government source.
- · Pro listings are verifiable against the relevant body (Cyprus Bar Association, ICPAC, GeSY).
- · Lead-capture is GDPR-explicit-consent only. Article 6(a). No buying lists, no cookies dropping silently.
- · The interactive timeline says "≈" because timelines are estimates — confirm with your lawyer.
- · This page exists so you can sense-check us. If something's wrong, tell us.
Who's behind it
Founder Raymond (Ray) Clynick. MSc in Brewing & Distilling (Heriot-Watt) and Chemical Biology, based in Pissouri, Limassol district. Built KyanoLab's pre-market property intelligence engine from scratch — clawbots, lead pipeline, geospatial — running on a local on-prem brain. KyanoVia is the consumer face of that same intelligence, and Ray operates it personally.
How we make money
Most relocation sites are a sales funnel for one law firm or one estate agent. This one is not. Reading it is free — the guides, the area data, the district pages, the calculators, the directory and the document checklists all stay free.
Two things are paid: the interactive planner and the assistant that works through your move with you. Everything needed to make the decision stays outside that.
Beyond that we earn a commission, agreed individually with each professional firm — a lawyer, an accountant, a removals company — when an introduction we make turns into actual work. The terms are between us and them and are not published here. What that buys is a place in the directory and introductions: never a better position in a ranking, and never a number bent in their favour. Anything commercial is labelled where you meet it.
Property is different, and we take nothing on it. We are not a registered estate agent. Listing a property here is free and stays free, an enquiry goes straight to the owner, and we do not take a share of a sale or a letting.
